Last weekend was round 7 of the MotoGP calendar and it was held in Germany on the legendary Sachsenring circuit.

Friday was filled with both dry and wet conditions, a typical day in Germany. Scott Ogden enjoyed the wet conditions but took a tumble and ended his day in 16th place. Joshua Whatley had good pace in the wet and ended the session in 17th position.

On Saturday, Ogden showed significant potential and ended his first session of the day in third. During qualifying, Ogden made a mistake on his first flying lap and crashed, lining him up in 28th place on the grid. Whatley had a lap cancelled but still managed to end his qualifying session in 25th position.

Race day had clear skies, warm conditions and an action filled 23 laps. Ogden put up a great battle and fought his way through the groups to cross the line in 19th place. Whatley improved his grid position by two places and ended his race in 23rd position.

This weekend was full of highs and lows. We showed good pace and knew what we were capable of. The lessons we learned will help us improve and reach our full potential.

“Not how I thought this weekend was going to end! Lots of chatter in the race and I struggled to turn. We made some steps this weekend just was unlucky with choice of setup for the race.”
